Moore film puts spotlight on US healthcare

"God help you if you are poor" - sounds like another one of Bush's faith-based initiatives.

"Ron Pollock, executive director of Families USA, a lobby group campaigning for healthcare reform, summed up the US system as he sees it...if 'you are rich and well insured, you'll get the best treatment in the world, but God help you if you are poor'.

As in many other policy areas, where the Federal Government has failed, some states have stepped in to act. Massachusetts has introduced a form of compulsory health insurance which the state hopes will lead to lower premiums for all. Other states have tackled the growing problem in other ways. source, RTE - Dublin
