Kucinich, who for the second time is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, argued a switch to government-funded health care would lift an increasingly heavy financial burden from the shoulders of families and business leaders.
“Health care for profit is over. It’s done,” he told supporters at the Teamsters hall on Thadeus Street.
Kucinich touted a universal health care bill he had co-sponsored with U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich.
